Wet n' Wild Color Icon Trio - Walking on Eggshells | Review and swatches
12:32 PMHi, guys! Today's post is a review on Wet n' Wild's Walking on Eggshells trio.
What it is: an eyeshadow trio
Where it is: drugstores and online
How much: each trio costs $3, but there are also singles and palettes with eight shades.
Anything else: Wet n' Wild is cruelty free!
I've been eyeing this little trio for a while now, more so than any of the other Color Icon eyeshadows. The trios all come with three colors, one for the lid, crease, and a highlight shade. Wet n' Wild claims that these "coordinating trio shades takes the guesswork out of creating the perfect eye look. The "how to" palettes are created to highlight, define, and accentuate specific eye colors to create unique looks." The trios are available in twelve palettes, I have mine in Walking on Eggshells.
The packaging is pretty simple, a little palette about the size of my palm that has a lock closure. The trio came with two tiiiiny little brushes, but I tossed those because they weren't great. Anyways, people have complained about the packaging not being too sturdy, but I haven't had any problems with it so far.
The colors coordinate well together. They form a very neutral and shimmery eye look when used according to the directions. All the shadows are buttery, easy to blend, and resistant to creasing. They are also extremely pigmented and with little to no fallout.
The eyelid color is a beautiful dusty, shimmery pink. Perfect for an all-over shade.
The crease color is a lovely glowing light brown. I prefer matte shades for the crease, but this gave it a nice looking effect.
The browbone color is a gorgeous shimmering champagne color. Very nice not only as an eye highlight, but as a face highlight too.
Overall, I really enjoy this product! All the shades work well together and are very good quality, despite their low and affordable price. I will be buying more of these eyeshadows.
Have you tried this product? What do you think of it?

Yay! I can comment now!
ReplyDeleteI was wanting this palette when I went to the States a couple months back but the only one I came across was shattered...:( But I managed to pick up the three 8 color palettes from the brand and I really really like those! xx
